Yapoya Sakaya

From Elwai, Yapoya is married with six children - three boys and three girls.

She has created a large garden plot in which she has six double dug beds and one keyhole garden.  She's planted a range of vegetables in the beds including kale, Chinese cabbage, spinach, night shade, onions and tomatoes.

She's using the produce she's grown to feed her family and sell to the local community.  In the first few months of the project she earned 100,000TZS (A$66) from her garden.
